Your are able to go to the fridge and back during the ad-break of MOTO-GP without losing your breath! Driving days max 4 h on good paved roads. A lot of starts in the hotels and a service van for your luggage. 3-course meals, time to enjoy a gin-tonic or two at the poolside. Special food requests taken into account.
As one-cactus tours but driving days and kilometers a bit bigger. Normal max on bike per day 6 h.
Our most common tour type. Suits normal motorized bike riders, whatever normal is… ;) …clean medium level hotels and motels. We ride 200-600 km per day depending on destination and riding conditions. We check out the most important sites that happen to be on our route. Max hours on bike are 8/day. We start after sunrise and we are in our next destination before sundown. No service van... if not othervise mentioned on tours own page.
On these tours we ride off-road/all-road bikes. The days are not necessarily long in kilometers. Instead we might be spending hours before reaching our next hotel depending on choice of route and weather conditions. We ride on roads/routes that can be found on a map and the hotels/motels are in the same category as in 3-cactus tours.
If we ride in countries far and away our tools are off-road/all-road bikes. Road can be whatever and sometimes no roads at all. Pre-requirement is extensive off-road riding experience. Accommodation is not pre-booked so category and range is colorful. The restaurants vary as well and can be on extremely basic level, sometimes there is only one alternative and the choice is to eat or not to eat … ;)
5-cactus tours can also take place in Europe or Europe’s vicinity on your own bikes where sites are usually seen when riding by! Long days on the bike and a lot of riding for the fun of riding.
These are Extreme… Big Adventure of the Year (B.A.Y.) Accommodation is varied. You can ride long days in all kinds of circumstances… also in challenging ones and if necessary with a minimum of food. You understand that it may rain on a motorcycle tour and it may rain for many days in a row…;) you are aware of that we may have to ride in the dark.. in dark and rain! Because our B.A.Y. –tours are long your social skills might be tested. In other words you might need a more open mind and stronger nerves than you know your possess!
